MILITARY SPECIFICATION
PRESSES, HYDRAULIC, VERTICAL, C- (GAP) FRAME
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the
Department of Defense.
1.
SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers hydraulic powered presses with a
C-(Gap) type frame and vertically operating ram with equipment and accessories
specified herein.
1.2 Classification. The press shall be of the following types and sizes.
The type and size to be furnished shall be as specified (see 3.9 and 6.2).
Type I - Bench Mounting
Size 2 - 2 ton capacity
Size 8 - 8 ton capacity
Size 4 - 4 ton capacity
Size 10 - 10 ton capacity
Size 6 - 6 ton capacity
Size 12 - 12 ton capacity
